About Phoenix Consulting

We are a fast-growing technical consulting and implementation partner, helping organisations deliver end-to-end digital transformation across enterprise IT platforms, Cyber Security, systems integration, cloud and ERP, with Salesforce as one of the platforms we specialise in.

Our business focus includes energy, Healthcare, and we have a long track record of success through organic and new business growth.

We are trusted by our customers for our ability to deliver complex, high-value programmers and for working in deep partnership with their teams.

The Role

We are looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of client solutions across our Salesforce, engagements. You will translate client business requirements into robust, scalable technical architecture, working closely with delivery teams, consultants, and client stakeholders throughout each engagement.

This role has a particular focus on field service solutions, so hands-on experience designing and implementing field service capability (such as Salesforce Field Service) is essential. While the role is remote, you will need to be comfortable travelling to client sites from time to time β€” for workshops, discovery sessions, and go-lives β€” so being UK-based is a firm requirement.

We're looking for someone who sees this as more than a role to fill β€” someone keen to grow with Phoenix as we scale, take on greater ownership over time, and help shape how we deliver solutions as a business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and technical architecture across Salesforce, client engagements

  • Translate client business requirements into scalable, well-architected technical solutions

  • Design and oversee field service solutions specifically, drawing on hands-on field service implementation experience

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle

  • Attend client sites as needed for discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and go-lives

  • Work closely with delivery consultants to ensure solutions are implemented to specification and best practice

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and technical trade-offs early, and communicate these clearly to clients and leadership

  • Contribute to pre-sales and scoping conversations, helping shape proposals and statements of work

  • Support the development of Phoenix's internal delivery standards, templates, and best practice as the team grows

  • Mentor and support less experienced consultants on technical delivery

About You

Essential

  • Based in the UK, with the ability to travel to client sites when required

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Salesforce Application/System Architect, Field Service certifications)

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within a Salesforce environment with field service experience

  • Hands-on experience delivering field service solutions (e.g. Salesforce Field Service)

  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into solution architecture and clear client-facing documentation

  • Comfortable working directly with client stakeholders, including in person

  • Confident working independently in a remote, self-directed environment

  • A genuine desire to grow with the business β€” someone looking for a long-term home, not just a short-term contract

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • 3+ years of experience in client-facing projects with a focus on large-scale systems development and business process consulting.

  • Excellent communication skills are mandatory; must be able to articulate complex migration strategies to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a consultancy or professional services environment

  • Exposure to pre-sales, scoping, or proposal writing

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior consultants

  • Experience with field service solutions such as Salesforce Field Service

Why Join Phoenix

  • A genuinely remote-first, flexible working culture

  • The opportunity to shape solution delivery as we scale as a business

  • Direct exposure to leadership and a real say in how we work

  • A collaborative, supportive team culture across a growing consultancy

  • A dynamic working environment where you can directly influence both the direction of the company as well as ensuring client success with every interaction
