About Phoenix Consulting: We are a fast-growing technical consulting and implementation partner, helping organisations deliver end-to-end digital transformation across enterprise IT platforms, Cyber Security, systems integration, cloud and ERP, with Salesforce as one of the platforms we specialise in. Our business focus includes energy, Healthcare, and we have a long track record of success through organic and new business growth. We are trusted by our customers for our ability to deliver complex, high-value programmes and for working in deep partnership with their teams.

As we continue to expand our UK presence, we are creating a new Marketing Lead role to own our marketing strategy, brand, and media presence. This new position reports to the CEO and Leadership team, and focuses on building Phoenix's profile and thought leadership within the healthcare and pharma sector, alongside leading our broader marketing function.

The Role: We are looking for an experienced Marketing Lead to own Phoenix's marketing function end to end: strategy, brand, content, and channel presence. This is a senior, largely autonomous role for someone who can build and run a marketing department, not just execute against a plan handed to them. A core focus of this role is our presence in the healthcare and pharma sector. We are looking for someone genuinely familiar with the pharma market who can act as a thought leader in healthcare and pharma technology consulting, shaping how Phoenix is positioned and perceived among clients and prospects in this space, and building the credibility, content, and relationships that support our growth there. You will work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to set marketing direction, and will have ownership over how the department operates, including bringing in and directing further support as the function grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Phoenix's marketing strategy end to end, aligned with business development and growth goals.
  • Build and lead Phoenix's marketing function, including processes, channels, and any future team members.
  • Develop Phoenix's positioning and thought leadership within the healthcare and pharma sector specifically.
  • Create and oversee content, including original, expert-level content, across LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Maintain and evolve Phoenix's brand identity and tone of voice across all external materials.
  • Own production of marketing collateral such as case studies, newsletters, pitch decks, and client-facing materials.
  • Manage Phoenix's website presence and ensure messaging is current, accurate, and aligned with active service lines.
  • Track and report on marketing performance, and refine strategy based on results.
  • Build relationships and visibility within healthcare and pharma industry networks, events, and publications.
  • Support employer-branding and recruitment marketing to help attract consulting talent.
  • Coordinate with leadership and consultants to source stories, wins, and insights suitable for external content.

About You:

Essential:

  • Based in the UK (this is a requirement of the role, though work is fully remote).
  • Substantial marketing experience, ideally including ownership of a marketing function or department.
  • Genuine familiarity with the pharma market, and credibility to operate as a thought leader in healthcare and pharma.
  • Strong understanding of how to market expertise and credibility (thought leadership, case studies, LinkedIn strategy) within a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to adapt tone across formats and audiences.
  • Confident using LinkedIn and other social platforms for organic B2B growth.
  • Comfortable working independently and owning a function with minimal oversight.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to direct others as the team grows.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience marketing into healthcare, pharma, or life sciences organisations specifically.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, or the wider technology consulting landscape.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for producing on-brand visual content.
  • Previous experience marketing within a small or scale-up consultancy.

Why Join Phoenix:

  • A genuinely remote-first, flexible working culture.
  • Full ownership of the marketing function, with real influence over strategy and direction.
  • Work directly with senior leadership on brand and growth strategy.
  • The opportunity to build Phoenix's profile as a genuine voice in healthcare and pharma technology consulting.
  • A collaborative, supportive team culture across a growing consultancy.
