Do you want a job that has the potential to make a real difference to the daily lives of young people, regardless of the barriers they face? Do you feel you have the skills to support families in challenging circumstances?
The Phoenix Collegiate is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed Family Liaison Officer. The person appointed will work closely with our Student Attendance and Year/Pastoral Teams in identifying students - and families - most at risk of missing out on their education, offering bespoke support packages to those identified individuals.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a strong track record of working with young people and families. They will be a proactive individual and a creative thinker who is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Standard working hours will be 32.5 per week during Term Time, although flexibility around actual start/finish times will be required. This will be discussed with candidates during interviews.
Phoenix is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. It is essential that all members of staff and volunteers share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for all posts.
