Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Support individuals across community-based and supported living services.
  • Promote independence, dignity, inclusion, and choice.
  • Follow person-centred care plans and work independently when appropriate.
  • Be reliable, professional, and flexible with working patterns to support individuals with varying levels of need, including complex behaviours.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Experience in community outreach or supported living is desirable.
  • Driver with access to your own vehicle preferred due to community-based work.
  • A genuine passion for promoting independence, dignity, inclusion, and choice.
  • Reliable, professional, and flexible with working patterns.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with varying levels of need, including complex behaviours.
  • Ability to work independently while following person-centred care plans.
