Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
- Support individuals across community-based and supported living services.
- Promote independence, dignity, inclusion, and choice.
- Follow person-centred care plans and work independently when appropriate.
- Be reliable, professional, and flexible with working patterns to support individuals with varying levels of need, including complex behaviours.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Experience in community outreach or supported living is desirable.
- Driver with access to your own vehicle preferred due to community-based work.
- A genuine passion for promoting independence, dignity, inclusion, and choice.
- Reliable, professional, and flexible with working patterns.
- Confidence supporting individuals with varying levels of need, including complex behaviours.
- Ability to work independently while following person-centred care plans.
