We are looking for an experienced Cafe Manager to join the team at Barbican Centre. The Barbican Kitchen is located in the Barbican Estate in the City of London. An all year Café/Restaurant open from 10am to 8pm - Monday to Sunday. The cafe serves freshly made pizza, sandwiches, salads, and a selection of street food.

Shifts: 5 days out of 7

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

About the Cafe Manager role:

  • To supervise, manage and motivate the team.
  • To make sure that the operation runs smoothly.
  • To ensure the customers experience is always maintained to the highest standard.
  • To continuously work towards improving sales and service.
  • Supporting and managing the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained.

The ideal candidate will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service and leadership skills.
