Phoenix Business Services UK is working with a respected employer in Cornwall to recruit an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key finance function within a professional and supportive team environment.

?? Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the full sales ledger process

  • Raise timely and accurate sales invoices

  • Reconcile accounts and follow up on discrepancies

  • Carry out credit control duties and chase outstanding payments

  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoicing queries

  • Assist with month-end reports and audit preparation

  • Support the wider finance team with general duties as needed

? Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience in a sales ledger or credit control role

  • Proficient in invoicing, reconciliations, and debtor management

  • Comfortable with Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, etc.)

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
