About the Role
As our Head of Product Management, you will be at the centre of shaping, defining, and driving the future of the Phoebus product suite. This is a strategic and influential role where you will:
- Lead the end-to-end product vision and strategy

What you’ll be doing
The Head of Product Management has overall responsibility for the profitability of our SaaS product propositions, including:
Team Leadership- Foster a collaborative culture within the product team, ensuring clear communication, goal alignment, and a focus on innovation
- Motivating and inspiring teams to deliver business outcomes
- Articulating the product vision, objectives and outcomes
- Developing product teams by providing regular valuable feedback, coaching & mentoring
- Build cross-functional relationships with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer management to align on product goals and strategies
- Collaborate closely with the engineering & quality teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of product features
- Create and execute a stakeholder management and communication plan
- Ensure our product proposition delivers positive net promoter scores
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision, aligning it with our mission, market trends, and customer needs
- Conduct market analysis to identify competitive trends and customer insights that inform our roadmap and positioning
- Own and manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch to continuous improvement
- Define and prioritise a product roadmap that supports growth objectives and delivers value
- Drive a data-driven approach to product development and prioritisation, using metrics to guide decisions and validate product-market fit
- Use analytics and performance data to continually optimise the product for growth and market fit
- Champion customer insights and feedback as a key driver in the product development process
- Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, pain points, and usage patterns to refine and improve the product
- Work with the Customer Management to ensure product enhancements align with customer feedback and use cases
- Build and manage the P&L for each product proposition
- Adhere to agreed revenue and cost positions, tracking actuals against forecasts and manage activity to ensure delivery against forecasts
- Accurately articulate product P&L position to key stakeholders
- Implement controls so work has approval to proceed based on value delivered
- Define and track key product KPIs (e.g., engagement, retention, satisfaction), ensuring that the product team is aligned on goals
- Prepare and present product performance updates and roadmaps to senior leadership and other stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with 3+ years in a leadership or Head of Product role
- Financial services, financial sector and financial product experience
- Strong understanding of product development cycles, from discovery and research to delivery and iteration
- Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement
- Ability to adopt a continuous improvement mindset by challenging effectively and exploring new ideas
- Desire to proactively seek to establish a broader knowledge of industry and technology trends to foster innovation and growth
- Curious so solutions designed meet market needs & maximise revenue opportunity
- Ability to effectively manage profit & loss for each product
- Working knowledge of delivery methodology, tools, and techniques
- Strong technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams
- Ability to travel to industry events, prospects and customer locations, as required
