As the Wholesale Assistant, you will gain exposure to wholesale operations in a luxury fashion house. You will support the Wholesale team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication with clients and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to ensure wholesale operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee input and management of sales orders using JOOR and Brightpearl.
  • Oversee sharing of order confirmations for designated accounts.
  • Maintain updated contact lists, account profiles and order records.
  • Be the first point of contact for order queries and order issues, communicating with Logistics to ensure timely product delivery and effectively solve problems.
  • Work closely with Logistics, Merchandising and Finance to manage allocations, order flow, invoicing and customer expectations.
  • Collate weekly sales information and analyse data to identify and report on top sellers, style popularity and market trends.
  • Assist during seasonal sales campaigns. Prepare and maintain linesheets and sales tools, co-ordinate showroom appointments and manage client communications.
  • Support the Wholesale team with collection launches where applicable.
  • Support in the preparation of sales presentations and other key meetings by creating decks.
  • Assist with the proposal of swaps, reorders, and returns in collaboration with the Account Executive and Logistics.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field (preferred).
  • Understanding of wholesale business operations.
  • Excellent organisation skills, strong attention to detail and ability to be accurate on data entry tasks. Able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively share information with the Wholesale team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with CRM and ERP systems a bonus.
  • Flexible, ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
