Purpose of the role

Support the team in delivering the end to end product development process across Accessories and leather goods. This role will have a higher involvement in the jewellery category.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager Leather Goods with tasks related to the development of the collection.
  • Follow up closely the work of vendors, suppliers and other subcontractors to make sure timeline is respected, issues communicated and solved, and the product is in line with the design brief.
  • Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, take charge of the development of the Jewellery category across finished products and component sourcing.
  • Manage the tech packs for development and production.
  • Supported by an assistant, own and update all the trackers and tools involved in the process – suggest new ones where appropriate.
  • Support the schedule and preparation of the meetings with the Creative Director and participate where appropriate.
  • Support the ongoing communication with design and vendors throughout development. Travel to vendors as required.
  • Work on finished goods or components, trim development.
  • Oversee proto and sample orders, execution and delivery.
  • Support with system set up and management (Airtable).

Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required

  • Product Development experience needed, possibly in Jewellery.
  • Organised and structured mindset.
  • Ability to work under stringent deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to be accurate on data entry tasks.
  • Good communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear, concise way.
  • Knowledge and passion for fashion and products – β€˜fashion sensibility’ - knowledge of trends, the market, the luxury consumer and peer awareness.
  • Italian language paramount.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at pace with flexibility, initiative and solution orientated.
  • Comfortable with IT systems, shared online documents.
  • Partner with team Excel skills.
