Purpose of the role
Support the team in delivering the end to end product development process across Accessories and leather goods.
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of the Senior Manager take charge of the development of the Jewellery category
- Manage the ongoing communication with design and vendors throughout development. Partner closely with both to secure the delivery of high quality protos and samples that are resolved and in line with the design expectations.
- Travel to vendors as required
- Budget management of the jewellery category
- Source components required for jewellery development
- Oversee prototype and sample orders of jewellery and make sure appropriate technical solutions are achieved
- Collaborate with the industrialisation/production team on the finalisation of the products in line with the company delivery calendars
- Support the Senior Manager on other categories of products as required, with the view of developing more and more expertise on all the products of the division (leather goods and sunglasses)
- Support with system set up and management (Airtable)
- Support with the needs of product styling and fashion shootings through the seasons
Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required
- Product Development experience needed, possibly in Jewellery
- Organised and structured mindset
- Ability to work under stringent deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be accurate on data entry tasks
- Good communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear, concise way
- Knowledge and passion for fashion and products – ‘fashion sensibility’ - knowledge of trends, the market, the luxury consumer and peer awareness
- Italian language paramount
- Demonstrated ability to operate at pace with flexibility, initiative and solution orientated
- Comfortable with IT systems, shared online documents
