The Merchandising & Commercial Intern will support the Merchandising and Commercial teams in the day-to-day management of product data, inventory, pricing, and trading operations. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience across the product lifecycle, from collection planning and showroom support to order management and systems administration.

Responsibilities

  • Merchandising Support
    • Support with Product Lifecycle status updates and tracking
    • Assist with product flagging across systems and seasonal assortments
    • Conduct price sense checks to ensure consistency and accuracy
    • Support Recommended Retail Price requests from Communications and Direct to Consumer teams
    • Assist with product inventory management, including showroom support during collection pick-ups and ensuring campaign product alignment
  • Commercial Support
    • Update wholesale and retail orders in Brightpearl to reflect revised product references and pricing
    • Support data clean-up activities to maintain accurate and efficient digital workflows
    • Remove non-produced SKUs from systems and relevant documentation
    • Sense-check product pricing and descriptions across the website
    • Ensure website information aligns with the latest line sheets at all times
    • Support retail stock transfers between stores
  • Systems Support (Airtable, Brightpearl, JOOR)
    • Assist with order creation in Brightpearl
    • Support daily order allocation refresh (ATP A > Channel)
    • Ensure product naming consistency across Comms and Merchandising documentation
    • Follow up on code changes and update all relevant files; support communication via Merchandising Memo
    • Update Level 1–5 data in Airtable for historical seasons
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain and update historical offer (collection file database)
    • Support creation and maintenance of historical posters (visual collection recap)
    • Assist with flatlay classification and naming for Macro
    • Support competitor (comp) shop reporting
    • Assist in setting up and maintaining the Merchandising calendar
