We are inviting talented individuals at all experience levels to join our London Atelier as Digital Pattern Cutters / RTW Digitisers. If you’re passionate about translating craftsmanship into the digital realm and contributing to the creation of luxury garments, we’d love to hear from you.
As a key member of our Atelier, you will be responsible for digitising patterns and refining existing digital files, supporting the full lifecycle from development through to production, including grading.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Pattern Cutters to digitise paper patterns throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with the pattern cutters and machinists to identify and resolve problems with patterns, pro-actively suggesting solutions to establish best method of construction for garments.
- Print and provide patterns for further development to the design team as required.
- Digitise patterns from paper patterns as well as working on already existing patterns and alterations.
- Build and maintain the digital pattern archive.
- Maintain a high level of quality control for digital patterns.
- Computer skills: Lectra Modaris Expert.
- Relevant industry experience in digital pattern making for luxury garments.
- Excellent eye for detail, shape and proportion.
- Technical capability and product knowledge, including experience of grading.
- In depth knowledge of garment construction and pattern cutting skills.
- Ability to identify problems and pro-actively find solutions.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable, ability to manage multiple patterns at the same time and re-prioritise when required.
