Know Your Role

Before the interview, make sure you understand what a Kitchen Porter does. Familiarise yourself with tasks like washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and assisting with food prep. This will help you answer questions confidently and show that you're genuinely interested in the role.

Show Your Team Spirit

Since you'll be working closely with the kitchen team, it's important to demonstrate your ability to work well with others. Ask About the Menu

Take some time to learn about Pho's menu before your interview. Being able to discuss the dishes, like the homemade pork & lemongrass meatballs or freshly handmade spring rolls, shows your enthusiasm for the food and the company. It also gives you a chance to ask insightful questions during the interview.

Be Ready for Practical Questions

Expect questions that assess your practical skills and how you handle pressure. Think about scenarios where you had to manage multiple tasks at once or deal with a busy environment. Prepare to share these experiences, as they will demonstrate your readiness for the fast-paced kitchen atmosphere.
