We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join Phlo on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Pharmacy Dispensing, Governance and Operations teams while acting in a Responsible Pharmacist capacity, supporting the safe and effective day-to-day running of the pharmacy.

A key focus of the role will be delivering a high-quality pharmaceutical service from our registered premises, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory and professional standards, company SOPs, Information Governance and Data Protection requirements, and internal policies and procedures. This is a part-time opportunity, averaging 20 hours per week across Monday to Wednesday, with a rotating pattern of 2 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next.

The Job
  • Acting as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring all pharmacy operations comply with professional, legal and company standards
  • Supporting the safe, effective, and efficient running of the pharmacy while leading by example
  • Partnering with the Governance and Operations teams to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations
  • Collaborating with the Patient Care and Patient Services teams, alongside external partners, to deliver flexible and patient-focused care
  • Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to maintain high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance
  • Maintaining accurate procedures, records, and logs in line with SOP requirements
The Person
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Previous experience working within an online or distance-selling pharmacy environment is desirable
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy governance, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Confidence working independently and making professional decisions in a Responsible Pharmacist capacity
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using digital systems and technology in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Adaptable and forward-thinking, with enthusiasm for contributing to the future of pharmacy
