We are looking for a Forklift Stock Controller to join our team. You do not need to be a forklift expert to apply. Full training will be provided for the role, including how to identify different forklift types, check specifications, record battery information, use our stock system and prepare forklifts correctly.
Main Duties
- Booking forklifts into our stock system
- Checking forklift details and keeping the system accurate and up to date
- Taking clear photographs of forklifts
- Cleaning forklifts and removing/cleaning old stickers when required
- Preparing forklifts for photographs, sale or delivery
- Learning how to check basic forklift specifications such as truck type, mast and lift height
- Checking and recording battery information such as voltage and Ah
- Preparing battery chargers for deliveries
- Making and fitting forklift data plates
- Carrying out monthly stock checks for forklifts and chargers
- Checking and correcting any differences between the physical stock and our stock system
- Keeping the forklift stock area organised
- Helping with other general stock duties when required
