The Opportunity
We are appointing a Key Account Manager to build and grow a nationwide forklift dealer network for a fast-growing lithium forklift truck range. This is a trade-facing role, selling through established forklift dealers, not end users. With a strong product, competitive pricing, and serious backing, this is a rare chance to take ownership of a dealer channel from the ground up — with a reward package to match.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, appoint, and manage forklift dealers nationwide
- Sell the lithium forklift range to dealer principals and sales managers
- Negotiate dealer terms, margins, and commercial agreements
- Train and support dealer sales teams
- Drive dealer engagement, demo placements, and order intake
- Conduct joint dealer visits and national account support where required
- Act as the commercial link between dealers and internal teams
Ideal Background
- Proven experience in forklift trucks / materials handling / industrial equipment
- Track record in dealer development or forklift industry
- Comfortable operating nationally and independently
- Commercially astute and respected by dealers
