PHL UK LTD is looking for a Forklift Service Engineer to join our growing Service team.
We are looking for someone who already has a mechanical and/or electrical background and would like to develop their skills within the forklift and material handling industry.
Experience could come from industries such as automotive, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, HGV/LGV, PSV, roadside recovery, REME or similar mechanical/electrical environments.
Your Role
Will Include: Servicing and maintaining forkliftsDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faultsRepairing and replacing partsWorking with electric, diesel and LPG forkliftsWorking with basic hydraulic systemsWorking with batteries and charging systemsChecking brakes, steering, wheels, chains and other componentsWhat We Are Looking ForEssential requirements: Previous mechanical and/or electrical experienceUnderstanding of how machines or vehicles workPractical and confident using toolsWillingness to learn and developGood communication skillsFull UK driving licence· Forklift experience is not essential , as full training will be provided.
