Role Overview: We are looking for an energetic and proactive Assistant Transport to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is lively, fluent in English, and ready to contribute to our transport department's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with transport paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Assisting the Transport Manager with his daily duties.
- Supporting the transport team in organising jobs and deliveries.
- Phoning forklift dealers to introduce and promote PHL UK Ltd's transport services.
- Building relationships with transport companies and securing jobs.
- Acting as the face of our transport department with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Preferably should have an understanding of container exports and imports.
- Preferably should have an understanding of imports and exports to Europe and customs procedures.
- Preferably should have an understanding of the basics of transport.
- Assisting with paperwork from the workshop.
