Team Leader – Sunderland GP OOH Overnights

PHL Group have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated Team Leaders to join our teamwithin Sunderland GP OOH.

This is a key role within the Regional Team and is a fantastic opportunity to put together your management skills and professional approach to add extra value to one of the leading healthcare providers.

As a Team Leader you will play an essential role in supporting and managing a team of multi-disciplinary staff, ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and accessible Integrated Urgent Care service to patients.

Please note this role is for overnights on the below days/times. The role is part time 30hrs per week on a permanent basis.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 00:00 – 08:00

Rate of Pay – £15.36 – £16.90 inclusive of unsociable hours

Your day to day…

• Responsible for team management and optimal performance of direct reports to achieve maximum network efficiency, and achievement of KPIs and quality indicators
• Drive GP’s to patients homes to conduct home visits
• Work collaboratively with Operational and Clinical Management Teams to ensure delivery of a safe, responsive service to patients and that key performance indicators are being met
• Support staff recruitment and rota cover activities to ensure required levels of staffing are in place
• Ensure all direct reports complete all relevant statutory and mandatory training
• Supervise, support and coach individuals to ensure delivery of high quality, safe care and quality standards are being met by your team
• Provide an escalation referral point for queries relating to calls/cases
• Support the implementation of service and organisational processes, policies and guidelines, ensuring they are adopted and embedded within your team.

Qualifications, Experience & Training…

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification and/ or have significant relevant work experience.
• Full UK driving Licence
• Able to demonstrate relevant work experience related to the role in supervisory / leadership capacity
• Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively with people at different levels and professional backgrounds
• Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise, in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management capabilities
• Ability to work, lead and motivate in a team environment
