Replenishment & Dispatch Operative
Location: The PHL Group, Welshpool

Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team in a combined Replenishment & Dispatch Operative role. In this position, you\βll play a key part in maintaining stock levels, ensuring accurate order picking and packing, and sorting outgoing parcels by courier and service to guarantee timely dispatch.
You\βll work closely within a small team to support our warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Replenishment:
- Replenish stock accurately and efficiently to ensure availability for order picking.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of products and correct storage procedures.
- Put away received goods to designated store locations using FLT where necessary.
- Dispatch & Courier Sorting:
- Sort and allocate packed parcels according to different couriers and service levels (e.g. next-day, standard, international).
- Ensure parcels are labelled correctly and are dispatched with the appropriate carrier.
- Load goods onto courier vehicles safely using FLT.
- Stock Control & Administration:
- Help maintain accurate stock and location records.
- Assist in regular stocktakes and inventory checks.
- Use in-house systems to update stock movements and complete documentation.
- FLT β An FLT Counterbalance Licence is required for this role, we are happy to put you through a refresher course should you have an expired licence.
- Operate safely and efficiently at all times in line with company procedures.
- General Duties:
- Liaise with colleagues across departments to support workflow and meet business targets.
- Ensure all Individual and Departmental KPIs/Targets are met.
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required in line with a warehouse operative role.
What We\βre Looking For:
- An FLT Counterbalance licence (Ideally current but will consider expired licences too)
- Good working knowledge of warehouse operations
- Confident using computers and warehouse management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- Adaptability to changing workloads and priorities
- A methodical and logical approach to problem-solving
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional overtime if needed
Desirable:
- Previous experience in parcel sorting or courier management
- Familiarity with shipping software or label printing systems
- Experience working within a regulated or quality-controlled environment
