As a Physiotherapist, you will provide advanced assessment and treatment to patients with complex and chronic conditions. You will work as an autonomous practitioner, determining clinical diagnoses and treatment plans, while ensuring high standards of care and maintaining clinical records.
As this is a contractor vacancy, you will work under the guidelines set out under IR35 including shift bidding, using your own equipment when appropriate, be responsible for your own accounts and taxes, and be responsible for maintaining your own business records/compliance documents.
Hourly Rate: £20
Your Day to Day:
- Manage a clinical caseload, including potential private/staff patients.
- Develop and expand business opportunities within the service.
- Work within contract-specific KPIs and report statistics to Senior Management.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and clinical governance.
- Liaise regularly with Senior Management and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Manage the delivery of physiotherapy services across multiple locations.
- Maintain and report on clinical incidents, complaints, and compliments.
- Participate in monthly feedback and meetings with Senior Management.
Qualifications, Experience & Training:
Essential:
- HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist.
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a Physiotherapist with exposure to rotational roles in respiratory, MSK, and Neuro.
- Experience in independent working and lone working.
- Energetic and proactive, with the ability to work flexibly within a prison clinical setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification such as MSc.
- Experience working in a secure setting.
- Postgraduate qualification in Microsoft Office.
