General Practitioner – Lymington UTC

Salary: £69.05 to £78.03 depending on shifts Closing Date: 31-10-2026

Partnering Health Limited has a brand new, exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join the newly mobilised service based in Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre. You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary.

Contracts available: 1 x Part-time (8.5 hrs per week) & 2 x Bank

About the General Practitioner role:

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients’ requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities.

General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience:

  • Provide appropriate medical leadership
  • Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs
  • Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems
  • Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service
  • Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service
  • Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery

General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience:

  • An experienced doctor with GP accreditation
  • Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
  • Experience if working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres
  • Record of on-going CPD and learningMRCGP examination or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of clinical governance
  • Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care
  • Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively
