Paid internship opportunity - Manchester based. PHIX is a rapidly growing luxury-inspired fashion brand blending British rock ’n’ roll attitude with elevated tailoring, statement fabrics and iconic cultural collaborations. Known for our collaborations with artists including The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, PHIX creates collections inspired by music, vintage culture and timeless stagewear, combining strong visual identity with modern luxury fashion. Applications that send their portfolio through to our creative director will be prioritised in the application process.

We are looking for a highly creative, organised and detail-focused Design & Production Intern to work closely with our founder, design team and production team across upcoming collections, product launches, photoshoots and sample sales. This is not a traditional corporate fashion internship. We are looking for someone ambitious, visually driven and deeply passionate about fashion, music and culture, someone excited to gain hands-on experience inside a fast-growing international fashion brand.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with design development across menswear collections
  • Supporting collection organisation, product development and sample tracking
  • Helping create and update tech packs, design sheets and product documents
  • Supporting communication with suppliers and factories regarding samples, fabrics and revisions
  • Assisting with fittings, measurements and product feedback
  • Helping organise trims, fabrics, labels and development approvals
  • Supporting creative research and inspiration for upcoming collections
  • Assisting with collaboration projects and launch preparation
  • Helping prepare samples, looks and product selections for photoshoots
  • Assisting on photoshoots, including sample organisation, outfit preparation and general on-set support
  • Helping organise stock for sample sales, archive pulls and internal product selection
  • Supporting the organisation of past, current and upcoming collection samples
  • Helping maintain organisation across Airtable, Google Drive and internal systems
  • Supporting graphics, presentation decks and visual collection planning where required
  • Using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve workflows, organisation and creative development.
