We are supporting a well-established UK organization operating within the financial and professional services space that is undertaking a significant upgrade of its finance systems and reporting capability. The business is private equity-backed and follows a buy-and-build growth strategy, with ongoing and planned acquisitions forming a core part of its expansion. As a result, there is a clear requirement for a robust, scalable ERP platform that can support integration, automation, and efficient reporting as the business grows.
As part of a wider finance modernisation programme, the organization is implementing a new finance ledger and MI platform, with Oracle NetSuite expected to be the core ERP. This role will focus on ensuring the system is fit for scale, supports future acquisitions, and improves automation and efficiency across the finance function.
This role will suit a qualified finance professional who has moved into finance systems delivery and is comfortable leading a hands-on ERP implementation in a delivery-focused interim role.
Key responsibilities:- Lead the implementation of a new finance ledger and management information system
- Act as the finance lead for ERP design, configuration, and delivery
- Support the deployment of Oracle NetSuite, working closely with implementation partners
- Ensure the ERP design supports a buy-and-build strategy and future acquisitions
- Design scalable chart of accounts, reporting structures, and MI frameworks
- Support data migration, reconciliations, and cutover activities
- Embed appropriate financial controls and automation within the new system
- Improve efficiency and reporting capability as the business scales
- Work with senior finance stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely MI
- Support testing, go-live, and post-implementation stabilisation
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience delivering finance ERP implementations end to end
- Hands-on Oracle NetSuite implementation experience is essential
- Strong background in financial accounting, general ledger, and management reporting
- Experience working in private equity-backed and buy-and-build environments
- Able to work on a hybrid basis with regular on-site presence in Swindon
