We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed services platform to appoint an M&A Manager as part of an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. Backed by a leading mid-market investor, the business has experienced rapid expansion through a combination of strong organic performance and an active acquisition programme, having completed several transactions to date. Operating in a large and fragmented European services market, the platform is well positioned to consolidate its space and drive long-term value creation.

This is a hands-on, in-house role working closely with the C-suite and investors, focused on supporting origination, executing transactions, and contributing to integration across multiple geographies.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering the M&A strategy, with a strong emphasis on execution and supporting integration:

  • Evaluate acquisition opportunities sourced by senior leadership and external networks
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
  • Support the preparation of investment papers and internal approval materials
  • Manage transactions end-to-end, coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Assist with due diligence across financial, legal, tax, commercial, and operational workstreams
  • Support negotiation, structuring, and successful deal completion
  • Work across multiple live transactions simultaneously, maintaining pace and attention to detail
  • Contribute to post-merger integration planning and execution, tracking performance against investment cases
Candidate Profile

4–7 years’ experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or a similar environment. Ideally some in-house M&A / Corporate Development experience. Strong track record of supporting transactions through the full deal lifecycle. Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skillset. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to senior leadership. Fluent in either French, Spanish, or German (essential). Sector experience not required; candidates from any industry background will be considered.
