We are supporting a fast-paced, Private Equity-backed Financial Services business, headquartered in Central London, during a key phase of their growth journey. As they continue to scale, they are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Director to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision support across the business. This is a critical role within a commercially driven and dynamic environment. Reporting to the CFO, the Interim FP&A Director will provide strategic insights and ensure the business is equipped with robust forecasting and planning to support its ambitious objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
- Develop and enhance financial models, providing actionable insights to the Executive Team.
- Business partner closely with senior leadership to inform and influence key commercial and strategic decisions.
- Deliver insightful monthly reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics to stakeholders and the Board.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, tools, and systems to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Support M&A activity, due diligence processes, and integration planning as required.
- Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, instilling best-in-class financial planning and analysis practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
- ACA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience in Financial Services.
- A proven track record within high-growth, Private Equity-backed environments.
- Exceptional financial modelling, planning, and analytical skills, coupled with strong commercial acumen.
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels and present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
