A fast-growing, private equity–backed technology business is seeking a Head of Reporting to lead the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful financial and operational reporting across the organisation. This is a senior role, reporting to the Finance Director / CFO, with the opportunity to shape reporting processes, analytics, and decision-making in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the reporting team, ensuring consistent, accurate and insightful management and statutory reporting
  • Develop and implement robust reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs to support commercial and operational decision-making
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Partner closely with finance business partners, commercial teams, and the executive team to translate data into actionable insight
  • Work with PE stakeholders on financial performance, metrics, and strategic reporting requirements
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across reporting and forecasting functions
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance processes

About you

  • Experienced in leading reporting teams within technology, SaaS, or high-growth businesses
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge, with the ability to simplify complex data for stakeholders
  • Proven track record of designing reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs that influence business performance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment with tight deadlines and ambitious growth targets
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
