Head of Policy & Strategy

Phipps Cameron is pleased to be partnered with one of the leading PE-Backed Manufacturing firms – looking to expand their already stellar Corporate Development team.
The M&A Director will drive the search and assessment of established acquisition opportunities and select carve-outs. Execute strategic acquisition projects to expand the business in alignment with company strategy. Then be involved in the integration process following acquisition.

Candidates coming from an in-house M&A/ Corporate Development team are preferred

7+ years in Mergers and Acquisitions
~ Experience in all three of Strategy, M&A, and Integration

Background experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Big4 TS team before move to in-house corporate development role

Conduct thorough analytical searches to identify new acquisition targets.
Build and maintain networks with companies to uncover and seize new opportunities.
Lead cross-functional due diligence teams in evaluating potential product acquisitions.
Develop and present financial evaluations and risk analyses for acquisition prospects.
Coordinate with post-deal integration teams and serve as the primary contact for all product acquisitions.
Support and occasionally lead divestment efforts of non-strategic assets.
Manage deal execution for business development and licensing projects.
Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory policies.
