Job Description

We are currently working with a PE-Backed business looking to bolster their M&A capability with a M&A Head.

This individual drives the M&A process by contributing to the diligence, execution, and legal negotiation.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years of experience, a corporate background, and exposure in a financial advisory (consulting/investment banking) role. English spoken and written is necessary.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  1. Responsible for M&A funnel identification and acquisition targets in the UK and Europe and initiation of relationships with potential candidates, advisors, etc.
  2. Building and maintaining contacts with external legal and fiscal advisors.
  3. Supporting the CFO in building business cases to support the M&A agendas.
  4. Leading negotiations, supporting the closing and integration.
  5. Ownership of the communication flow to all relevant internal and external stakeholders during the process from the moment of first contact to completion of the acquisition/merger.

Candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
