Phipps Cameron is partnering with a PE-backed Software firm that is looking to recruit a Head of Corporate Development. This opportunity will be responsible for heading up all M&A activity for the business, as well as working closely with investment professionals from the PE fund. They are ideally looking for a candidate based in London.
Role Profile:
- Devise the M&A strategy and build the M&A pipeline.
- Build strong relationships within the firm and external markets.
- Analyse and evaluate markets and target companies.
- Lead the cross-functional due diligence process.
- Lead deal negotiations with target companies.
- Negotiate LOIs, and sale and purchase agreements.
- Lead the post-merger integration to ensure that the acquired companies are integrated smoothly.
- Reports directly to the CEO.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant Investment Banking, Corporate Development, M&A or Private Equity experience.
- Technology Corporate Development experience is essential.
- Ideally PE-Backed experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA desired.
- Significant experience in guiding teams to execute all aspects of transactions including direct experience originating, negotiating, structuring, and executing M&A, and joint venture transactions.
