Contract Type: 1-Year Fixed Term (with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and business needs / pivot into other business areas)

The Opportunity
As a Senior M&A Manager , you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing acquisitions, divestments, and other strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Corporate Development Director, who is part of the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, you will lead deal processes and contribute to the long-term growth strategy.
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, including business unit leaders, finance teams, and external advisors across a global footprint.

Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end M&A transactions (acquisitions and divestitures)
- Provide strategic input into the company’s M&A roadmap, focusing on value-enhancing opportunities
- Offer oversight and guidance to the M&A Manager
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage external advisors
Divestments:
- Prepare businesses for sale in collaboration with senior leadership
- Manage data rooms, due diligence processes, and marketing materials
- Provide financial analysis and critique business plans
- Support SPA drafting, review, and negotiation processes
Acquisitions:
- Conduct initial assessments and present opportunities to leadership
- Oversee valuations, due diligence, and offer documentation
- Engage with target company management and assess synergies
- Prepare investment papers and support executive-level decision-making
Other:
- Support corporate strategic planning and other key initiatives
- Assist with board documents and related corporate development projects
About You
- ACA, CFA, or equivalent qualified with at least 8 years of post-graduate experience
- Strong corporate finance background from a Big 4, private equity, or in-house environment
- Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Some travel may be required but is not a core aspect of the role
- Experience in travel-related M&A is advantageous but not essential
