Phipps Cameron is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth TMT business to support the expansion of their Corporate Development team. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and commercially strategic function at a pivotal stage of the company’s growth journey. As part of a lean, high-performing team, you will work directly with the Head of Corporate Development, CFO, and Chief of Staff to drive M&A execution and integration, support strategic planning, and enhance investor and board-level reporting. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the full deal lifecycle – from origination through to post-acquisition performance tracking. This position is ideally suited to an M&A Associate or Manager with post-deal integration experience, now looking to take on broader strategic responsibility in-house within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Head of Corporate Development to support the execution of international M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation modelling.
  • Lead elements of post-merger integration activity, working cross-functionally to track performance against business plans and drive synergies.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams to monitor post-deal performance, report on KPIs, and provide insightful financial analysis to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentation materials for the Board, investors, and senior leadership (SLT), ensuring clear communication of strategic initiatives and performance.
  • Support the preparation of business cases, valuation analyses, and strategic recommendations on acquisition targets and corporate initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous refinement of integration playbooks and best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in M&A, ideally gained within a fast-paced industry (e.g. TMT, technology, services) but also open to other industries depending on experience.
  • Strong exposure to post-merger integration activities, with a clear understanding of the operational and financial challenges post-deal.
  • In-house experience is highly desirable; candidates with advisory backgrounds who have led integration workstreams will also be considered.
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly proactive, analytical, and adaptable, with the ambition to grow within a strategic and commercially impactful role.

Why Apply?

  • Unique opportunity to join a highly visible team at the heart of a fast-growing international business.
  • Exposure to the full M&A lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on value creation post-acquisition.
  • Ideal for individuals with integration experience who are looking to step up and broaden their scope into strategy, planning, and investor relations.
