Duration: 6 months initial (potential to convert to permanent). We are partnering with a leading listed financial services platform undergoing significant growth, transformation and strategic change. As part of this journey, the business is seeking an experienced Interim Strategic Finance Lead to support senior leadership in driving financial insight, strengthening reporting capability and embedding scalable processes across a key revenue-generating division.
This is a highly visible role working closely with the CFO, divisional leadership team and wider finance function, offering the opportunity to influence commercial decision-making, integration activity and performance optimisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead delivery of strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
- Develop and enhance management reporting frameworks to support executive decision-making.
- Partner with senior business leaders to drive commercial insight and challenge strategic initiatives.
- Support integration of acquisitions including synergy tracking, performance monitoring and reporting alignment.
- Improve operational finance processes, controls and scalability of reporting infrastructure.
- Provide analysis of revenue drivers, pricing strategy and client activity trends.
- Coordinate financial input into transformation and change programmes.
- Oversee development of KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
- Support incentive and compensation modelling aligned to business performance.
- Act as a senior finance representative within key management committees and governance forums.
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Significant FP&A or commercial finance leadership experience within financial services.
- Strong exposure to wealth, investment management, advisory or platform-based financial businesses.
- Experience supporting growth, integration or operating model change.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Advanced financial modelling, reporting and systems capability.
- Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused approach.
