We are partnering with a global specialist in loss adjusting and claims management, to appoint a Finance Director to lead finance across 2 key verticals. With operations across 40 countries, this newly created role represents a strategic investment in the business, reporting directly to the UK CFO and based in their City of London office.
As a highly acquisitive organisation with several integrations currently in flight, the business is evolving at pace. This role will start with a UK remit, expanding to cover EMEA operations as the business continues to scale. The position offers the chance to shape financial operations across key service lines while helping integrate new entities and standardise group processes.
This is a transformational leadership opportunity rather than a core controllership role; you will delegate day to day accounting to a capable team and instead focus on driving consistency, scalability and performance across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial oversight across 2 divisions, ensuring robust financial control, insight and scalability.
- Drive standardisation of processes, systems and working capital management across a growing, regionally diverse business.
- Partner with divisional and Group leadership to deliver effective decision support, embedding a consistent performance and reporting framework.
- Support the integration of acquired businesses, aligning financial systems (S/4HANA preferred) and operational practices.
- Develop and maintain forward looking, value driven management reporting to enhance visibility and accountability across the business.
- Build and mentor a finance team capable of supporting expansion across the UK and wider EMEA footprint.
- Shape transformation initiatives across shared services to drive efficiency, consistency and quality of output.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified finance leader (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with proven experience in complex, multi entity service organisations.
- Strong understanding of working capital management and its impact on business performance.
- Experience with ERP transformation (S/4HANA preferred) and finance process optimisation.
- Ideally has exposure to Private Equity-backed or acquisitive environments where growth, integration and transformation are key themes.
- A strategic, hands-on operator who combines financial rigour with operational awareness and commercial pragmatism.
- Confident in leading teams through change, with the gravitas to influence senior leadership across multiple regions and business lines.
- Brings an energetic, forward thinking approach with a passion for building high performing, scalable finance structures.
