Chief Financial Officer (Interim)

Interim Chief Financial Officer | PE-Backed | Business Services South West (Hybrid) | 6–12 Month Contract We’re partnering with a Private Equity-backed business services organisation entering a critical phase of strategic development and growth. We’re looking for an Interim CFO to work closely with the CEO and investors, providing financial leadership, driving performance, and supporting value creation initiatives, including M&A. Full ownership of the finance function (FP&A, financial control, reporting & commercial finance) Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and Private Equity investors Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning Drive performance, cash management, and margin improvement initiatives Lead and execute M&A activity, including due diligence, integration, and value creation Strengthen financial controls, processes, and reporting to support scale Build and lead a high-performing finance team ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience Proven CFO / Finance Director experience within PE-backed environments Strong track record of delivering M&A transactions and working with Private Equity investors Deep expertise across FP&A, financial control, and commercial finance If you’re an experienced CFO with strong Private Equity and M&A credentials, looking for a high-impact interim role, we’d love to hear from you.
