We have been retained by a fast-growing, high growth business services group undergoing a significant acceleration in growth, using an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. With a strong market reputation and impressive scalable growth, the organisation is actively expanding its portfolio through strategic acquisitions across the UK and Europe.
As the group continues to scale, they are looking to appoint a M&A Manager to play a central role in driving their acquisition agenda. This would be ideal for someone looking to make the jump from practice. Sitting within a high-performing Corporate Development team, this position offers the opportunity to influence strategy, lead key workstreams across the full deal lifecycle, and contribute directly to the group’s long-term value creation.

- Sourcing and engaging potential acquisition targets proactively to build and manage a high-quality deal pipeline.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisors, intermediaries, and industry experts to strengthen sourcing and execution activities.
- Preparing and discussing financial models, commercial analyses, and internal investment materials with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Contributing to negotiations on larger transactions while leading and closing smaller transactions independently.
The Ideal Candidate
- Relevant post ACA Qualification experience in M&A, such as Transaction Services, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, or an M&A advisory boutique.
- Strong analytical rigour with the ability to translate data and financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- End to end deal execution experience within the Services Sector is highly desirable.
- Strong and hands on experience with UK accounting standards.
