Job Purpose

In the role of Senior Design Engineer, support design and development activities as well as manufacturing and aftermarket support for a full range of diesel fuel injection and exhaust treatment products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of diesel fuel injection system components
• Design and prepare concept 3D graphical models
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings using latest geometric dimensioning and tolerance practices
• Select and approve special characteristics on drawings
• Analyze customer’s and legislative test requirements and formulate technically cost-effective solutions
• Contribute to formal and informal design and development reviews at appropriate stages of projects
• Write reports and present results to internal and external audiences
• Prepare and execute simulation models
• Interpret test data, synthesize results, and report findings
• Gain exposure to high-precision manufacturing technologies required to produce advanced designs
• Assess designs using established DFMEA methods to develop robust products
• Contribute to project reviews and product development
