You will design, test, and analyze pump systems, driving robust products through DFMEA and rigorous validation. You will join PHINIA’s sustainability-focused culture and contribute to a future-proof product portfolio. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li compensation and benefits programs /li li health and well-being resources /li li family-centric policies /li li agile workplace program /li li diversity and inclusion /li li development opportunities /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Design and develop diesel high pressure pump and fuel injection components /li li Plan and perform test and analysis on rigs, engines and vehicles /li li Participate in design and development reviews /li li Investigate failures and conduct root cause analysis /li li Prepare reports and present results to internal/external audiences /li li Procure and test sample hardware to meet project requirements /li li Assess customer and regulatory test requirements and propose cost-effective solutions /li li Create and use simulation models to support development /li li Develop and use test equipment and instrumentation /li li Interpret test data and report findings /li li Gain exposure to high-precision manufacturing for prototypes /li li Define and execute test plans to feed project objectives /li li Assess designs with DFMEA to ensure robustness /li li Contribute to project reviews and product development /li li Analyze data and recommend further testing or improvements /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent /li li Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint /li li Excellent written and spoken English /li li Software skills related to management operating systems and MS Office /li li 2 years of relevant work experience (ideally) /li li Experience with rig test instrumentation and operation /li li Data acquisition and post-processing experience /li li Aptitude for data-driven problem solving /li li Hands-on ability to dismantle and reassemble mechanical components /li /ul ul li Good communication and interpersonal skills /li li Ability to communicate across the organization from shop floor to management /li li Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines /li li Rig test instrumentation and operation /li li Data acquisition and post-processing /li li DFMEA methodology (desirable) /li /ul
