Job Purpose
The Category Manager is responsible for driving accelerated, profitable, and sustainable demand growth for PHINIA EMEA aftermarket products and solutions by delivering the right products, with the right messaging, at the right price, at the right time, through the right channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Market analysis: lead and coordinate market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities and risks, and put in place appropriate strategies and tactics.
- Go‑To‑Market strategy: develop and execute customer‑centric GTM strategies for the product line(s) of responsibility, including segmentation, targeting and positioning.
- Sales enablement & product communications: lead development of compelling, fact‑based product messaging and support internal training and customer communications.
- Financial and market share growth: implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability, analyze sales performance and pricing to ensure market competitiveness, and track product success to refine future launches.
- Continuous improvement (CI): identify and lead CI opportunities for marketing across EMEA.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Marketing and/or Business (minimum degree level).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role (category marketing, product marketing or trade marketing), preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience with key economic indicators, financial drivers and business metrics to generate strategies and produce positive results.
- Experience working in a multi‑country marketing environment with a strong focus on customer interaction and engagement.
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills; ability to solve complex challenges and drive outcomes.
