The role
We are looking for an apprentice to join our US team (3/4) and UK team (1/4). Your duties will expose you to all aspects of US and UK tax compliance. We will provide you with all necessary training and support alongside your classroom studies while you learn how to perform your duties. Initially you will study for an ATT qualification (fully funded by Phinch). On successful completion of this qualification you will be supported in further studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing US tax returns for manager review.
- Reviewing data provided by the client and converting currencies to USD as required.
- Submission of tax returns and FBARS to the IRS/Treasury Department.
- Preparing UK tax returns for manager review.
- Apportioning income to ensure it is allocated to the correct tax year.
- Support to the admin function of the office including answering the telephone at busy times.
Skills
