About the Role
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We welcome applications from candidates who hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Support children’s learning and development through play
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety policies are followed at all times
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (essential)
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
You will need an Enhanced DBS certificate to work with children (don’t worry if you haven’t got one, we can help you get one) and 2 references covering the past two years. Most importantly you need a caring, dedicated and professional approach to working with young children with special educational needs.
