Learning Support Assistant Full-time (Monday to Friday) Islington Secondary School Start Date: ASAP Ongoing

The Role

In this role you will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs across both Key stage 3 and key stage 4. You will work closely with the pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons. You should have a calm and consistent approach and be committed to supporting pupils to make progress and overcome learning barriers. You will work closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers, providing assessments and reports.

This vacancy is on a full-time basis running until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going permanent or extending into next academic year. All staff are required to complete our full registration process in line with 'DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education' guidance.
