Secondary Teaching Assistants needed

We are working with a range of Secondary Schools in Walthamstow who are looking for confident, professional and dedicated people to work as Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants in their schools to provide short-term and daily cover for teachers.

The Role

In this role you will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs across both Key stage 3 and key stage 4. You will work closely with the pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons. You should have a calm and consistent approach and be committed to supporting pupils to make progress and overcome learning barriers. If you have experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD then this is an advantage but not necessarily needed for this role as its a general Secondary role.

You will work closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers, providing assessments and reports.

This role is offered on a full-time contract basis for the full academic year.
