Science or Math’s Teacher Secondary SEMH School: 11-16 Immediate Start Full-time Paid to scale Are you a specialist Teacher who has experience working with SEN and SEMH pupils? We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Math’s or Science Teacher to work in a highly regarded SEMH School in Enfield. The School supports students with with various behavioural and emotional needs (SEMH). The Role This SEMH School is looking to recruit an experienced Teacher to teach classes within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in either Math’s or Science. You will have a team of support staff in the class to allow for emotional and behavioural support. You will need to have a good understanding of teaching your subject at KS3/KS4 and must have strong SEMH/ SEND/ PRU experience. You will need to be approachable and patient and be able to build a strong rapport with the students. You will be working closely with other staff and professionals to manage challenging emotional and social behaviour on a daily basis. Experience in similar settings is essential, along with a calm and resilient approach. The School The School allows pupils to focus on their learning and offers specialist support to allow individual development according to each pupil’s needs. There is an established leadership team and teaching staff in place and all staff benefit from the shared learning and training to enable you to become an excellent SEMH practitioner.
