Overview
School Premises Officer β ASAP start. Temporary, 5 days per week. Split shift: 7:00 am to 10:45 am and 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm. Two-form entry primary school in Camden.
The role is to support the current team with general maintenance for ongoing school operations.
The Role
In this role you will be working 5 days a week on a temporary basis to work alongside the team. The hours will be confirmed on appointment and may require flexibility for opening and closing the school.
- Support with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities
- Prepare areas within the school for events (furniture set up etc)
- General upkeep and cleaning
- Weekly fire alarm tests to be recorded in a spreadsheet
- Health and safety knowledge needed
- Grounds upkeep
Requirements
- Physically fit with experience in building maintenance
- Previous experience in schools, colleges or educational settings preferred but not essential
- Professional approach
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to have one processed
