A dynamic and forward-thinking SEMH school in Enfield are looking for an Outreach SEMH LSA to join their school to support children and families in the local community.

The Role

As an Outreach SEMH LSA you will be supporting children and their families within the community who are linked with the school. Pupils will have a range of complex SEMH needs and SEND. You will be based in the school and also out in the community visiting homes. Your role will include assessments and support programmes for families and building the home/school relationship to ensure that children are receiving the correct support and care at all times. You will work closely with teachers, leaders and other support staff in the school as well as external agencies.

The School

This specialist SEMH School is based in Enfield and is specifically for Secondary aged children in the borough who have suffered trauma within their young lives. There is a highly committed team who hold the interests of each and every child at the heart of everything they do. In addition to the main school, they also have specialist provision for pupils from mainstream schools who have SEMH and behavioural needs and require additional support for a short time. They also have a specialist provision for pupils with ASD and an outreach team. The school offers training and development for all their staff.
