A warm and welcoming, term-time only nursery school in the London Borough of Merton is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator (Level 3) to join their team from January 2025 on a full-time basis.
The Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will be working with children aged 2–4 years, supporting their learning and development within a nurturing EYFS environment. You will work closely with teachers and fellow Early Years professionals to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key worker for up to 10 children
- Planning and leading a range of creative, play-based learning activities
- Completing observations and assessments using online software
- Building strong relationships with parents and providing daily and termly updates
- Supporting children with additional needs and working alongside relevant professionals
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (suitable for EYFS ratios)
- Have strong Early Years experience
- Be an enthusiastic and proactive team player
- Demonstrate a reliable, committed, and caring approach
This role is offered on a full-time, term-time only contract from January 2025 through to July 2025 (and longer if happy).
