Nursery Leader to join its Early Years team from September.

This full-time

Nursery Leader position would suit a qualified Early Years practitioner who has experience leading a nursery room, planning engaging EYFS activities and supporting the development of young children.

  • The Nursery Leader Role
  • As the

Nursery Leader , you will take responsibility for the daily organisation of the nursery provision and work closely with the EYFS teaching team and senior leadership.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting children’communication, language, social and emotional development
  • Monitoring children’progress and maintaining accurate observations
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Leading and supporting Nursery Practitioners and Teaching Assistants
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Supporting children with additional needs
  • Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are followed
  • Helping children prepare for their transition into Reception
  • The successful

Nursery Leader will be confident managing routines, supporting staff and ensuring children receive high-quality Early Years education.

  • The school in

Thorpe-le-Soken is looking for someone who

  • Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification, NNEB or equivalent
  • Has previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting
  • Has experience as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Manager or senior practitioner
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Can confidently plan and deliver Early Years activities
  • Has experience monitoring and recording children’progress
  • Can lead and support other members of staff
  • Has strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Is caring, organised and reliable
  • Can commit to a full-time position from September

Applicants should have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new DBS application.
