Media & Film Production Teacher Maidstone, Kent Full-Time – 5 Days per Week Long-Term – Full Academic Year ASAP Start Permanent Opportunity for the Right Candidate Interviews Available Immediately An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic Media & Film Production Teacher to join a secondary school in the Maidstone area of Kent on a full-time, long-term basis. The school is looking for a confident practitioner who can deliver Media at Key Stage 4 alongside BTEC Film Production at Key Stage 5, inspiring students to develop both their creative and technical skills. This is a 5-day-per-week position starting ASAP and is expected to continue for the full 2026/27 academic year, with the potential to become a permanent placement for the right candidate. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Teaching Media at KS4 Delivering BTEC Film Production at KS5 Planning and delivering engaging, creative and practical lessons Supporting students with both the theoretical and practical elements of Media and Film Production Guiding students through BTEC coursework, assignments and practical projects Supporting students with areas such as film production, editing, pre-production, storytelling and media analysis Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, participation and achievement Working collaboratively with colleagues within the departmentThe Ideal Candidate We would be keen to hear from: Qualified Media Studies Teachers Film Studies / Film Production Teachers Teachers with experience delivering BTEC Film Production Media professionals or Further Education lecturers with relevant teaching experience Experienced teachers looking for a long-term or permanent opportunity Candidates confident teaching across KS4 and KS5Experience delivering BTEC qualifications at Level 3 would be particularly advantageous.
