We are currently recruiting School Wraparound Childcare Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in Haringey. Schools are looking to build a reliable pool of staff to support their breakfast clubs, lunchtime provision, and after-school clubs.
The Role
You will support children from Reception to Year 6, either before school, during lunchtime, or after school, helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment. Hours can vary depending on the school, but typically include:
- Breakfast Club: 7:45am – 9:00am
- Midday Meal: 11:00am – 2:00pm
- After-School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
You can choose which sessions suit your availability.
Midday Meal Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils during the school lunchtime period
- Working both in the lunch hall and on the playground
- Helping to manage behaviour and ensure pupils are safe
Breakfast & After-School Club Responsibilities
- Supporting the daily running of breakfast and/or after-school clubs
- Leading or assisting with games, creative activities, and structured play
- Ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged at all times
- Supporting with snacks and transitions between activities
- Supervising children indoors and outdoors
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (school or similar setting preferred)
